Ben's Lemonaid is Junk

There’s more than enough new stuff in the world. My work is about using what’s already here - salvaging, repurposing, and reimagining the discarded.

Through Ben’s Lemonaid, I create art from reclaimed materials: old aluminum, scrap wire, broken lighting, leftover fasteners, forgotten objects. Each piece begins as waste and ends as something unexpected - sometimes playful, sometimes raw, sometimes quietly strange.

Most of my work is made from 100% reclaimed materials. I don’t use any paint - what you see is the true surface and patina of each component. Occasionally, a bit of new material sneaks in - mainly for safety or structure - but the heart of every piece is rescued, not purchased.

I’m interested in how decay, history, and function can be transformed into beauty and curiosity.

It’s sculpture with a second life - and hopefully, a longer one.

Ben's Lemonaid operates out of London, Ontario

Ben would love to hear from you

Special thanks to my metal mentor - Gary Jeansonne

Gary runs Select Renovations, installing eavestroughs across southwestern Ontario - from London to Sarnia. He taught me everything I know about aluminum.
