Project RiverFish
Inspired by a big stainless steel table top I found in the Thames River at Gibbons Park.
I pulled the table top out the river on a chilly March day and managed to get it home by bike. Working with stainless steel was new to me. I usually use old aluminum eavestroughs and siding which are easy to screw into and manipulate... turns out stainless steel was much more resistant to my methods.
Here's a little video of me collecting the table top from the river. Getting it home on my bike was quite the challenge. The steel was heavier than I'd thought it would be so I had to strap it to my bike. In the end I had to remove one of my pedals for it all to work which made for a very strange ride home.
