2025. With some new SeaWeed for cover the FatFish is back out in the world. This time on display in the Talbot Centre mall in London, Ontario.
FatFish and SeaWeed is made from 99% reclaimed materials. The fish is built from reclaimed eavestroughs, an abandoned garden table and wheelbarrow, burned-out lightbulbs, and other found elements.
The seaweed is formed from scrap perforated steel sourced from Zubics Metal Recyclers. Inside the seaweed, old TV cables create a subtle sense of aquatic movement within the otherwise stationary forms.
The bases are constructed from reclaimed eavestroughs and reused plywood from a previous project.
