SilverMaple was commissioned for the 2025 Mississauga Festival of Trees taking place Dec 5th -14th at the Small Arms Inspection Building at1352 Lakeshore Rd E Mississauga.

SilverMaple depicts a maple tree at the end of Fall.  With its bare branches and collection of leaf litter at its base, it’s meant to invoke that cold winter-is-coming feeling that we all know and some of us even love.

The trunk and bigger branches are made from reclaimed eavestroughs while the smaller branches are old tomato cages and garden fencing. The leaf litter is old steel sheets and reclaimed chicken wire.

⚠️ WARNING! This piece has many sharp edges and must be handled with care. Not child appropriate at all! TBH... a good percentage of adults should probably not handle this either.
